Today is a great day for Metal Gear fans, as you can now download the fan-made project “The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid“. The project was created by iRam Gamer in Unreal Engine 4, and while the whole project had to be broken up due to technical limitations, you can already enjoy part 1, while the others will roll out over the next few weeks. Keep in mind that this build is for 64-bit systems only, but a 32-bit version will launch at some point today.
While not exactly a game, this FPS exploration experience is still cool, allowing to revisit and explore some of the series’ most iconic areas, as well as a lot of incredible fan art from fans; think of it like a half museum, half art gallery experience.
Elevating it a little above most fan projects, the project is to feature David Hayter doing some voice-over work, as well as VR support!
