CES 2013 – Enermax

There were a lot of chassis manufacturers in Vegas this week for CES International 2013 and while we didn’t get chance to visit them all, we did manage to hit up a few of the best to see what they had on offer and see what great products we can expect to see hit the market over the coming months and beyond.

Enermax have already proven them selves in terms of their performance, quality and value for money here at eTeknix with chassis like their budget friendly Ostrog winning one of our eTeknix awards only a few months ago. So what did Enermax have on offer this week? lets take a closer look at the pictures I was able to snap and a quick run down of what we saw.

First up was the latest editions of their PSU range, packing anything from 750w to 1800w, more than enough punch for any modern high end system. Their overall build quality and design was fantastic and we look forward to seeing these later in the year.

As you can see, this is no small power supply and its capable of powering some seriously intense hardware configurations, perfect for a quad SLI rendering rig or any high performance system.

Next up we saw their latest cooling fans, all of which came with a huge array of lighting, colour and configuration options, offering a solution for everyone from chassis modders, enthusiast games and right up to their Magma range that is all about moving the maximum amount of air, making them perfect for overclockers and extreme computing requirements.

Also on offer are a new range of CPU coolers, raning from the tiny entry level tiny cooler and its bigger, higher performance brother which you can see at top centre in the picture. Below that we have the very funky ETS-T40 available in both a black finish with blue LED or an extremely slick looking gloss white.

For those that prefer their systems more portable, we have these very handy laptop cooling solutions, great for those that need to max out the performance of their system without cooking their hardware.

There were a few new chassis on offer too such as the Soenus, which we hope to be reviewing over the coming weeks, so far though its looking like it will be good.

Not all products were just for market though and we saw some nice display models on offer.

This custom finish Ostrog looks great too with its twin AMD graphics and red and white paint job.

Or for those that prefer a cleaner looking build we have the Fulmo fitted with a slick white finish and red detailing, it looks rather funky with the white fans and CPU cooler we saw earlier.

The Ostrog isn’t the best chassis in the world, but its certainly one of the top performing chassis for this price range, as you can see here it manages a solid SLI rig with ease.

Next up we have even more PSU offerings, this time offering up a whopping 1350W and 1500W, enermax had on average the most wattage for their new PSU range that we saw at CES.

If those are a bit too much for you in terms of wattage, or perhaps even your budget then we have these didy solutions that range from 350w to 600w. While this model isn’t modular it does feature flat cables, a welcome edition to anyone wanting to keep their system neat and tidy.

Finally we have their last display rig, fitted with a 240mm radiator that looks stunning thanks to their new LED fan kits.

So plenty of chassis, hardcore and entry level PSU solutions, CPU coolers and a massive range of fans, it seems its going to be a good year for Enermax and they had some really strong products on offer.

Their stand out features were easily the power supplies and the cooling fans, so keep an eye out for these products over the next few months and we’ll be sure to keep you up to date with reviews as soon as we can.

Of course we have plenty more epic coverage from the show, so stay tuned and expect us to be looking at many other manufacturers, with pictures, videos and information to keep you entertained from the show.
