Check Out The Gigabyte GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming WaterForce WB

Gigabyte is well known for creating extreme performance graphics cards, and it looks like they’re set to continue that trend with the upcoming release of their new GTX 1080. The new card, the rather long-named Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1800 Xtreme Gaming WaterForce WB, comes packed with all the high-performance thrills you could hope for, as well as coming pre-fitted with a custom water cooling block.

The water block is a full-cover design, which features a nice mixture of black and red highlights, a full-size backplate and window section with a copper interior, as well as RGB lighting; it’s sure to look stunning in your system.

“Forged with the sorted XTREME GAMING-grade GPU, the card guarantees supreme overclocking capability without compromising system reliability. Clocked at 1936MHz in OC mode, the card delivers blazing fast gaming performance over the reference design and other competitions. The 12+2 power phases provide even more stable voltage output for serious overclocking. The use of premium-grade chokes and capacitors also ensure ultra durability for a longer system lifespan.”

The cards no slouch either, coming clocks at 1936MHz in OC mode. The card is well tuned for VR performance, but also connectivity, with Xtreme VR Link.

“This VR-friendly feature offers 2 additional HDMI connectors at the front of the card, providing gamers with extra output flexibility to connect VR devices while using HDMI monitors at the same time without the need of adaptors.”

With the block pre-fitted to the card, you don’t have to fuss about with the installation or your warranty. The new card from Gigabyte comes with a 3-year warranty, but signing up to the XTREME GAMING Club will increase that to four.

No pricing just yet, but you can likely work out that it’s going to be one of the more expensive GTX 1080’s on the market.
