How Much Do They Cost?
At the time of writing, the Chieftec Tornado fan kit can be purchased for a price in the region of £45-£50. Now, while this might initially sound a little expensive, do remember that you are getting not only three system fans here in this kit but also ones that offering amazingly high levels of performance and functionality.
Comparatively speaking, the Chieftec Tornado is not only notably less expensive than many of the alternative fans kits but in our opinion, it is significantly better than the vast majority of the alternatives (for a similar price) on offer!
Performance
Although we feel that the cable inserts to the hub controller could be a little bit better, in terms of performance and functionality, there’s honestly very little else we could find to fault with this fan kit. The hub controller provides you with an excellent central point for all your cabling. The remote control allows for an amazingly wide varied of control at your fingertips. The fans both look and feel like they are a quality design. And perhaps best of all, when the light show is turned on, they look absolutely amazing.
Throw in the fact that, as fans, they provide a strong amount of airflow and do it amazingly quietly, the Chieftec Tornado, put simply, ticks all of the right boxes!
Should I Buy Them?
The Chieftec Tornado fan kit has many beneficial factors in its favor. Chief among which (no pun intended), at least in our opinion, is that while it costs notably less than a lot of its competition, it offers performance and functionality that manages to exceed or at least compete with some of the most expensive alternatives currently available on the market. – Don’t be fooled into thinking that this is a budget product though. The design and features on offer here genuinely make this a premium design and, quite frankly, if you were in the market for a new upgrade to your PC’s cooling fans, you’d be a fool to not at least give the Chieftec Tornado some consideration!
