From first impressions you have a box with a very CM Storm design, fitting perfectly in with the rest of their product line with the red and black theme. The front has a fancy graphic of the mouse with some of the more prominent features listed.
The back of the box features a more in depth list of the specifications of the Recon. Other than the spec and the usual certifications etc, the design is kept pretty simple and to the point.
We are starting to see more boxes feature a door that opens to reveal the product through a window. The inside of the door has a graphic diagram of the various features. The plastic around the Recon is moulded to the shape of the mouse allowing you to get an approximate feel of the shape and grip required.
CM Storm have kept it simple with the Recon. The box only contains the mouse and quick start guide.
The Skorpion, being just an accessory, gets a simple box with a large windowed area allowing you to see it inside. From the initial looks, it’s very obvious as to why it is called the Skorpion.
