Computex: Cooler Master Display V8 GTS CPU Cooler

Cooler Master’s V series of CPU coolers are perhaps some of the most epic looking CPU coolers on the market with a design focus on looking like cars and engines hence the “V8” and “V6” and so on. At Computex they showed us the V8 GTS CPU cooler which is going to be one of their highest end heatsinks. It features a vapor chamber base plate along with eight 6mm heatpipes and a dense aluminium heatsink array.

The cooler is ventilated by two 140mm fans either side of a central heatsink which cools four of the eight heatpipes. The 140mm fans are custom designed to be 20mm thick and do 600 to 1600 RPM pushing 28 to 82 CFM. Either side of the two fans are two more smaller heatsink stacks which cool four of the eight 6mm heatpipes.

The overall dimensions of the cooler are 154mm by 149.8mm by 166.5mm while the dimension of just the heatsink is 154mm by 140mm by 153.5mm. The total weight is 1.14KG while the heatsink weight is 0.85KG.
