The absolute bare minimum requirements for Ray Tracing is the GeForce RTX 2060. Of course, for higher resolutions, higher frame rates, and higher fidelity settings, you’ll be looking higher up the RTX range. I already know that even the RTX 2080 Ti is not enough to max this game out, but we’ll get to that shortly.
First up, we set the game to the built-in “High” graphics profile, but from there, we did make some small changes. For starters, motion blur and film grain are off, because I hate those settings in games. The texture settings defaulted to Ultra, that was dropped to High Texture Resolution. VSYNC is OFF at all times.
The game was tested with ray tracing off, set to medium, and again with high ray tracing. After that, we turned on DLSS and tested ray tracing again with medium ray tracing and again with high ray tracing settings.
We used the following resolutions as standard on every GPU we tested. Plus, we also performed tests with all cards at all of the resolutions using the games built-in DLSS feature.
The game features five main settings to dial in how you pick your quality for ray tracing. These settings are independent of the games main graphics profiles and settings too. The medium profile only enables the top two; reflections and transparent reflections. The high profile enables all five. However, you can customise this as you desire too. For ease of use, we stuck to the profiles available; medium and high.
