Packaging

The packaging looks like most other Cooler Master products these days, with that vibrant purple and blue that really grabs your attention. There’s a lovely photo of the cooler on the front too, showing off the heatsink design and those lovely ARGB fans.

Around the back, a nice breakdown of all the major features, but general dimensions and socket support are also details on the sides of the box also.

Open it up, and you’ll find a component bag with all the main fixtures are stored right in the top, along with the documentation.

Remove that, and you’ll find the cooler comes pretty much assembled with both fans already in place. There’s a hard cardboard separator to stop the fans from digging into the heatsink should they get knocked in transit.

I love that packaging design too, it all lifts out as a single unit, and then you just fold down the sides to reveal the cooler. It’s only moulded black plastic, but it reminded me of a fold-out Micro Machines toy truck I had as a kid.

In the box, you’ll find both Intel and AMD mounting brackets, a splitter cable for the fans, and one for the ARGB lights, and there’s even a tube of thermal paste, so you can reapply that in the future as needed.
