Cooler Master ML280 Mirror AIO CPU Cooler Review

Performance

We would freely admit that in terms of our comparative testing charts, we have always looked to attempt to keep some of the best and most impressively performing coolers on there. That way, when something new like this comes along, you can see how it directly stacks up to some of the best or most trusted designs around!

So, how did the MasterLiquid ML280 Mirror perform? Well, starting with CPU temperatures, finding itself in the middle of the pack, we see some highly-respectable results both in terms of stock and overclocked performance. The biggest highlight, however, is how this did acoustically.

Put simply, even when overclocked, this cooler was amazingly quiet which is surprising not only for a 2 fan AIO but also the fact that these are 280mm fans which have, in our prior testing, often proven to be quiet vocal generically speaking. There wasn’t even a single pump gurgle which is often associated with AIO designs.

With a little compromise on the noise levels, we would fully expect that those temperatures could easily fall more without any notable issue to the overall performance of this cooler. Put simply, taken as a whole, these results are excellent! And, if we’re being honest, a lot better than we were expecting!
