A Closer Look

This is a great-looking mouse, there’s no doubt about that. It’s a fairly traditional mouse design, nothing too outlandish, however, it’s unmistakably a Cooler Master mouse too, having much of the DNA I’ve seen in their gaming mice over the last few years.

Obviously, we have the white version, but the mouse is available in black too if that’s what you desire. I love the two-tone look here though, with that matte white and grey finish. There are two side buttons on this mouse, and they’re contoured so that you can click with a push or a slide of your thumb.

The back of the mouse is nice and round, with soft curves and no prominent joins on the panels, so it feels very smooth to hold in your hand.

The ergonomics are right-handed only, sorry lefties, but overall, the shape is a familiar one, Cooler Master hasn’t gone far from the classic Intelllimouse template here.

The overall fit and finish is excellent though and the matte finish gives the mouse a sort of eggshell look and feel that provides quite a bit of grip while still feeling fairly smooth.

The LMB and RMB are mounted with their own individual panels, which looks great but also improves the overall response and feedback of the switches. There’s a good side scroll wheel too, with a soft rubber grey grip matching the colour of the side buttons.

On the nose, you’ll find a recessed USB-C port for charging the mouse. However, the mouse can be used in a wired mode too, if you desire.

Actually, it looks and feels pretty great used as a wired mouse, so it’s nice to have options.

On the underside, you’ll see quite a lot going on. There are three good-size PTFE feet, a power/mode switch, a profile button, a sensor, a pairing button, and a little flap for dongle storage; that’s a lot of stuff!
