Cooler Master Reveals TD500 MAX ATX Case

Cooler Master, one of the biggest names for PC cases and PC cooling has today unveiled the new TD500 MAX ATX PC Case crafted to suit the demands of enthusiasts with exceptional thermal performance and user friendly features.

Cooler Master TD500 MAX

The TD500 MAX is Cooler Master’s latest case as part of the MAX Series which features a pre-installed customized AIO cooler, GXII Gold 850W ATX 3.0 PSU, patented 2-stage cable connectors, and a screw storage pad. The AIO and PSU are pretty self explanatory but what is a 2-stage cable connector? Well effectively the motherboard tray itself features PSU headers which Cooler Master claim will provide the “convenience of replacing the motherboard without opening the back panel”, which you can do on most cases already by simply unplugging your PSU cables from the motherboard. This just looks like an added fault point that doesn’t actually serve any benefit, though with the pre-installed PSU it does probably speed things up a bit, but you’re still going to need to remove the back panel for everything else. The screw panel on the PSU cover is a nice touch though rather than keeping all your screws in a zip lock bag.

Hardware Support

The case is capable of fitting up to an ATX motherboard as well as up to a 165mm tall CPU cooler but it does come with the ML360 Pre-installed so that shouldn’t be a concern. The GPU clearance reaches 380mm which should cover almost every GPU on the market and the case comes with a GX II Gold 850W ATX 3.0 PSU which should be fine for the majority of systems.

Cooling Support

The case comes pre-equipped with the ML360 Atmos AIO which includes 3x 120mm Mobius120P ARGB fans, plus a single CF120 fan is also installed in the rear. For additional fan support uses can fit 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm in the top. Both the front and top panels feature dust filters and a mesh panel for adequate airflow.

Key Features

  • Custom AIO cooler: A Cooler Master 360x38mm Atmos radiator featuring three Mobius 120P fans can keep even the latest CPUs cooled off.
