There are 16 high-quality thumb screws included in the box, meaning you could install a push-pull configuration if you bought two more fans, which is a nice bonus. Fitting the fans was nice and easy and those huge sweeping fins and the matte black finish does give this cooler a great visual appeal.
The universal backplate is easily set up, just push the four pins through the appropriate holes and use the included clips to lock them in place; this only takes a few minutes to complete, even less if you’ve done this many times in the past.
Flip it over and it should look like this, in fact, it’s so easy to do, it will look like this.
This part was a little tricky, as holding the block over the CPU while lining up the bracket and getting the thumbscrews in felt like a job that needed three hands. It obviously wasn’t impossible on its own though, but the thumb screws are small and a little tricky to deal with. A few fumbles here and there, but overall it’s not exactly the hardest cooler to install and the slim bracket and low profile pump certainly look great now that they’re in place on the motherboard.
