CoolerMaster Masterair MA612 Stealth CPU Cooler Review

Exterior Packaging

The CoolerMaster Masterair MA612 Stealth carries all of the initial branding identification you would expect with its predominantly black coloring with purple highlights. A notable criticism of this, however, is that with the cooler itself being black, although there is a nice large image on the front of the packaging, it doesn’t stand out particularly well.

The rear and sides of the box work provide plenty of information regarding this coolers features and technical specifications. In terms of details, CoolerMaster has done an excellent job here in quickly conveying exactly what you can expect from this product. Overall though, I can’t help but feel that on a presentational level, this is lacking a bit of glitz and glamour.

Finally, because I feel this is a point always worth making, CoolerMaster provides the Masterair MA612 Stealth out of the box within a practically fully-enclosed plastic casing. This is an exceptionally nice touch as too often in the past I’ve seen radiator fins bent or dinged during transit and, with this in place, your cooler here should arrive in pristine condition!

Accessories!

CoolerMaster provides you with a nice quality instructional manual of which we will discuss in more detail later in this review. In addition, you are also provided with a separate booklet containing information regarding your coolers warranty.

In terms of accessories, be it AMD or Intel, CoolerMaster has everything you need right out of the box (sans a screwdriver) to help you install your new Masterair MA612 Stealth. This includes a small quantity of thermal paste (probably just about enough for 2 applications) as well as a splitter PWM adaptor for the 2 cooling fans.
