Coolink SWiF2 Fan Series Review

PackagingWe are focussing on the whole of the Coolink SWiF2 Fan series and there are in fact 4 fans that we are looking at today, while they are fairly similar there are minor differences and so we will concentrate first on the packaging of the 80mm fan and then tell you how the others compare.

From the front of the 80 MM box we can see the design which is standard among them all. On the top right we can see the model number and the RPM, all of these fans use the Hydro-dynamic bearing and so all have the same HDB picture at the top.

This is the back of the 80mm box, which gives us the list of features in 3 languages, a brief description of the series and the specifications for just this fan.

From the side of the 80mm box we find the same details as on the front.

On the final side of the 80mm box we have the Coolink name and then an interesting design which does sprawl onto the front.

The 92mm fan is fairly similar, the box has been scaled up and so the window is bigger. This time the fan runs at 1500 RPM.

Moving to the larger 120mm Fan but first the PWM version. Instead of giving you the RPM it says PWM – maybe thats not too surprising.

The back of the 120mm fans are slightly different to the others as it shows a graph comparing the SWiF2 to SWiF. The statistics table at the bottom is also a bit more confusing as the PWM fan can have an RPM between 800 and 1700.

The normal 120mm Fan is locked at 1200 RPM.
