Corsair 460X RGB White Tempered Glass Chassis Review

The Corsair 460X is a great chassis to work with, as it has such comprehensive cable routing options. As you can see, the final build here is incredibly neat and tidy. I’ve stripped those front panel fans out, moving them to the top and rear of the build. I wanted to see if I could squeeze a 280mm radiator in here, and I obviously could. I did try fit that in the top, but it conflicted with the motherboard VRM, so in the front it went! Even then, it’s pretty tight, but it did fit in the end.

The PSU shroud is a nice addition, keeping all those cables hidden out of sight. Of course, it hides our storage drives too, keeping the front free from clutter.

Mounting a radiator in the front was quite a squeeze, and I did have difficulty getting the PSU shroud in place afterwards. Nothing a bit of muscle couldn’t fix though.

The cable grommets at the side of the motherboard are well placed though, providing short cable runs directly to the motherboard.

Plus, the chassis has plenty of length to it, giving us all the room we need for any high-end GPU on the market today.

I took the stock fans out of the front, and by putting them into the top and rear, I’ve created more light and airflow within our build. There’s also a lovely Aorus X399 Threadripper motherboard and CPU in here, so obviously no issues with big/high-end hardware here.

With all the glass back in place, you can really appreciate just how crystal clear that window is. The internals of the systems is very much on display. For those who love to show off their hardware, I can’t think of a better-looking chassis for the job.
