Corsair H150i Pro RGB 360mm AIO Cooler Review

A Closer Look

Now that we’ve got it out of the box, the H150i looks pretty fantastic. The radiator design is what you would expect from a 360mm radiator, but has been nicely finished with some edging panels to keep it looking neat and tidy, with just a small Corsair logo on each side.

Pump

One of the biggest changes for the cooler is the pump design. It’s a low profile design that looks much more like one from a custom loop setup. The Intel bracket is pre-installed, but can be changed as required, but it should speed up the installation process for many. The tubing is quite slim compared to some older Corsair models too, so it should be more forgiving come installation time.

While this cooler does say RGB, the only RGB element in the trim and logo on the pump. I’m sure Corsair will offer a full RGB model with RGB fans in the near future (I’m guessing), but I would expect that to push the price a heck of a lot higher.

The base of the cooler has a huge copper block and some pre-applied thermal paste for a quick and easy installation. Of course, we’ll remove that to use our usual testing paste for fairness.

Hoses

The hoses are beautifully finished with a tight black braiding, giving them a premium quality look and feel, while also keeping them well protected. Even the fittings are neat and tidy, with hard black caps protecting the edges of the braiding.

The radiator has a huge surface area and is packed tight with fins to help with heat dissipation. It supports three fans on either side, giving you some flexibility in how you install it.

Connectivity is simple enough, with the cooler needing a SATA cable, and a 3-pin header. The rest is handled by the three on-cable fan headers, making it a pretty simple process to connect everything. Just remember that Corsair Link requires the use of the included USB cable from the pump to the motherboard.

Fans

The three ML120 fans are superb in terms of their quality. They look neat and tidy and are very well engineered for low noise and high airflow.

Once installed, we’re ready to rock! This thing should move some serious heat, so let’s get it powered up and see what it can do.
