Corsair has had the H50, H60 and H70 out for a while. As such it seems they want to push this a step further, firstly with a H80, which will feature a double-thick 120mm radiator compatible with most ATX cases. In case this wasn’t enough, they are also launching the H100, which offers a wide 240mm radiator, giving you the option of having two 120mm fans attached to it or be itself attached to any case with mounts for a 240mm radiator.
Both coolers feature digital connections, like Antec’s, that make them compatible with Corsair’s monitoring and control system, called ‘Link’. Even if not connected to Corsair Link, the H80 and H100 have digital speed controls, which can vary betwen quiet, balanced and performance profiles.
The cooling unit or block itself features a low-profile, light-weight cooling unit with a micro-channel copper cold plate and a split flow manifold for superior cooling. If you can translate that then let us know!
They Hydro Series H80 will retail for ~$80 and the H100 will cost ~$120, however it seems that these models will be priced higher in the UK as the H70 is priced at £70.
