How Much Does it Cost?

The Corsair M75 Wireless Lightweight RGB Gaming Mouse launches today with an MSRP of $129.99 in the US, £119.99 here in the UK and 129.99 EUR for Europe. That’s certainly not cheap, but this is a very high-end gaming mouse for a flagship brand, so it’s not particularly surprising to see it costing as much as it does. It’s around the same price as the Razer Viper V2 Pro Ultra, Logteich G Pro X Superlight, and the ASUS ROG Harpe Ace, which all have similarly high-end specifications of their own, with the key difference that none of them are ambidextrous.

Overview

Corsair has kept things remarkably simple looking and feeling with the M75 Wireless Lightweight gaming mouse but don’t be fooled by the simple design, as this is every bit one of the most high-end and well-equipped gaming mice on the market today. That’s obviously a good thing for enthusiast PC users and gamers, but I think it’s also fair to say that all the big-name brands have something pretty epic around this price range, and Corsair has insanely good competition on the market.

However, this is one of the very few ambidextrous gaming mice on the market at this level, with a lot of them typically being mid-range mice at around half the price. So why would you pay so much more for the M65 is there are cheaper options out there? Simple, quality and performance.

This mouse is decked out with one of the absolute best sensors on the market today, running at 26,000 DPI and 650 IPS at 50G acceleration, it’s virtually impossible to throw this mouse off its game. You can run it at super-low DPI with fantastic accuracy, no jitter, no stutter, no angle snapping, or you can push the DPI up crazy high for ultra-fast twitchy gameplay, and it still tracks perfectly.

The optical-mechanical switches are lightning fast, and thanks to the way they’re mounted, the click response is instant, with a rapid return, allowing you to machine gun fire your clicks with ease, perfect for tight gameplay in games like Seige, CS:GO, and competitive shooters.

Then there’s the ergonomics, this isn’t some whacky-looking extreme gaming mice that seem to litter retailer stores, it’s pretty toned down and simply looking, so it feels comfortable in your hand, free from distractions, and surprisingly natural in either hand for an ambidextrous mouse, while I often find Ambidextrous mice and feel a little compromised in either hand, but not the M75.

Should I Buy One?

If you’re ambidextrous or left-handed, you can certainly reap the benefits of this mouse in an obvious way. However, I’m a right-handed gamer, and just having two extra side buttons has its own benefits for gaming. With Corsair’s low-latency wireless technology, Bluetooth and USB-C you’re never short of playing how you want to play. With one of the best sensors, flawless switches, and a light and fast design, it’s pretty much the perfect gaming mouse for me. Highly recommended!
