Total build time for the 900D was 20 minutes, which is a really fast build for the components we have used. Of course we are hardly testing the limits of what this chassis can do, but since there is so much space to work with it would be relatively easy to fit a quad GPU configuration in here without bumping your elbows.
The PSU looks a little strange mounted side ways, but have room for a second is not to be sniffed at, especially if you’re planning on powering an absolute monster of a system.
The corsair H100i isn’t exactly small, but looks tiny in the top of the 900D, easily enough room for a huge radiator here.
Cable routing and overall design look simply stunning, really can’t see a single thing wrong with this build.
Airflow is far not an issue at all, three 120mm fans at the front is more than enough for this build and with all our hard drives in the bottom there is nothing in the way of airflow to our GPU and CPU.
I mounted all three hard drive bays in the bottom, leaving loads of room on the top side for airflow. Of course I could also mount the HDD bays up top and keep this space for a huge radiator.
Our hard drive clips into place with ease and the lower access panels mean you can maintain and change hard drives without taking off the larger side panels.
All panels back in place and we get a great view of our build, a truly epic choice for those who want to show off their handy work.
