The Corsair SF750 retails for a price in the region of £140. In terms of similar power supplies, there frankly isn’t a massive amount to choose from. Well, not one that is this small, this powerful and with platinum levels of efficiency. The vast majority of alternative models tend to thin out after the 500w point and as such, this offers something rather special.

Yes, it might be a little on the pricey side. You will, however, struggle to find a small factor power supply that offers more than this.

Efficiency and Beyond

For such a small power supply, I must admit that even despite the Corsair branding, I thought that this would just about squeak through our testing to warrant everything it says, but not much more. I will, however, happily admit that I was wrong. The Corsair SF750 excels not only in aesthetics but also in design and performance.

Remember, in terms of power supply efficiency, there is only one level above platinum and that is currently the private domain of some pretty huge (or heavy) power supplies.

The fact that a power supply as little as this achieves so much is remarkable. The fact, however, that it performs massively better than it has any right to is astounding!

Should I Buy One?

The Corsair SF750 falls into what I feel is a very specific market. Namely, people who want to build an ultra-powered mini-system. With this in mind, the Corsair SF750 is a perfect choice. Not only does it output an impressively large amount of power, but it also does so efficiently, quietly and above all without any complaints what-so-ever.

This is, arguably, the best small factor power supply currently on the market. I don’t say that for the sake of hyperbole. I say it because I genuinely don’t know of anything better (or even close) to this!
