Corsair SP2500 2.1 PC Speaker System Review

We all know Corsair as one of the biggest players in the memory and power supply markets, but over the past year they have made huge strides in the peripheral industry with an influx of products spanning across keyboards, mice, headsets and of course audio speaker systems.

This is where we find the SP2500 2.1 PC speaker system landing with us aimed at a variety of different users including the hardcore gamers, audiophiles and movie buffs. No matter what you need this kit for, Corsair believe they have it in one neat package known as the SP2500. In their own words, Corsair say:

The Gaming Audio Series SP2500 is the product of a design philosophy that embraces the importance of clean, detailed audio reproduction — not just for games, but for movies and music as well. Building a great PC speaker system is more than about giving you room-shaking power. You also need optimal imaging and positional accuracy, and sonic depth and detail. Since you have only one speaker system, you don’t want to make compromises. That’s why we’ve created the SP2500.

So without hesitating, lets get straight into it and find out why the industry are raving over this particular set of speakers, and see if Corsair as they claim, have reinvented the PC speaker system.
