Down the left side of the chassis, you can see it has a huge side panel window. A large clear window like this is perfect for those that want to show off their hardware. The panel is mounted with a pair of thumbscrews, so its nice and easy to open up. Of course, you can’t ignore that lovely red front panel either, that adds a bit of flair to the aesthetics from all angles.
On the right side, the side panel is the same design. It has a raised section that matches the left window panel and is also mounted with a pair of thumbscrews.
The I/O panel is located on the right side of the front panel. This is nicely out of sight and it has just enough connections for day-to-day use. There’s a single USB 3.0, a USB 2.0 and HD audio jacks.
Now onto that awesome looking front panel. Don’t get me wrong, this is a budget chassis, but a unique front panel design goes a long way. There’s a huge amount of ventilation here, with mesh filters built-in to help keep the airflow clean. Hiding behind it, you can see 2 x 120mm fan mounts. The pre-installed fan is one of Corsair’s own red LED models.
The red finish is quite striking, and I love it. Of course, if you wanted something toned down, you could get the model with grey trim on the black body.
Around the back, things look pretty standard. There’s an unpopulated 120mm fan mount, seven expansion slots, and an ATX PSU mount. I am happy to report that despite being a budget model, the expansion slot covers are reusable; not those nasty snap-off ones.
