Corsair ST100 RGB Headset Stand and Sound Card Review

Corsair ST100

Over the years here at eTeknix, I have seen many weird and wonderful products. Interestingly, quite a few of those with products have come from Corsair, not that the products in themselves are that strange, but that they find new and interesting ways of sticking RGB lighting in them.

Their latest creation is the ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand. This is not your typical headset stand, and I should know, having three different headset stands in and around the office to accommodate my daily requirements. Firstly, this is the first headset stand I have seen in the office which has built-in RGB lighting. Now I’m sure that many of you are thinking “why the hell would you need RGB lighting in your headset stand”, but we say “why the hell not”. I mean after all, if this isn’t something you want, it’s not like you have to buy it.

Built-in Sound Card

If that’s not enough in terms of cool features for you, this is also the first headset stand I’ve seen in the office which features a built-in 7.1 surround sound card. And if that wasn’t enough! It also has a USB hub. If that doesn’t make this one of them more interesting headset stands you’ve ever heard of, then nothing really will.

WE MADE A STAND. FOR HEADSETS EVERYWHERE.

“Proudly display your headset with the ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand, featuring aluminum construction, customizable RGB lighting and immersive 7.1 virtual surround sound.” – Corsair

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
