Corsair TX750M 750W Modular Power Supply Review

In a cold load test we run the PSU in an open air environment to see what the unit is capable without the limiting factor of heat. We hook the PSU up to our load tester and measure the voltage of the various rails as well as measuring the efficiency.

Corsair has done an excellent job on the voltage regulation here. Although the rails are providing under the target amount (ie. 12V) at high loads which I normally don’t like, the voltages are so close that it is negligible. What I really like is that when the load is dropped to a low level, the voltages don’t go sky high like they do on many other units which is a good indicator of quality.
