Corsair TX850M 80 Plus Gold Power Supply Review

Fan Speed

This looks a little crazy, but look closer, as the fan only changed from around 730 to 815 RPM in all our tests. That’s incredibly slow for a PSU fan and shows why Corsair fitted it with a 140mm model. That fan at this RPM is virtually silent, so we doubt you’ll ever hear it whirring away.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
