Corsair Vengeance C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis Review

Down the left side of the case we can see there is quite a lot going on with this chassis.  Starting on the top we can see a large ventilation area for fitting additional cooling such as a radiator or 2 x 120mm / 140mm fans, then a durable carry handle on either side of that.  On the top edge of the case you can see the quick release flip locks that allow you quick and tool-less access to the interior of the chassis.  Further down from that we have a slightly tinted large side panel window, which is perforated to allow for 2 more 120mm or 140mm fans.

Around the back can see the same theme continueing, with the same quick release locks on either side, a sizeable recess in the side of the case to allow for cable routing behind the motherboard.

The front of the chassis looks especially fantastic, we can see again the side panel release clips and how the attach over the top of the chassis, the front panel controls and ports, the 3 x optical drive bays and further down from there we can see the design on the front air intake, which looks fantastic thanks to its hexagon cuts outs showing through the front grill and the nicely understated corsair logo in the centre.

Taking a closer look at the front panel, starting on the left we can see the heavy duty looking power button, hard drive LED, headphone and microphone sockets, two USB 3.0 ports and a very funky reset switch which is protected by a flip up cover, its a small touch, but I really like this little touch of design, it makes hitting the reset button about as fun as it could ever be.

Around the back the same theme continues, you can see the 120mm pre-installed rear fan, 8 ventilated expansion slots, with extra ventilation slits cut into the top part of the chassis, then more ventilation slots to the right of the expansion slots all helping to keep a good air flow in this case.

Turning the case upside down we can see two large washable air filters, both of which push together to cover the full length of the chassis, with two full chassis with feet that are fitted with side rubber grips to keep the chassis stable and help minimise vibration.
