Corsair Vengeance C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis Review

Now that we have our test system installed we can see just how much the C70 chassis can handle.  I’ve opted to leave the 120mm rear fan inplace and instead installed our Antec Kuhler in the top of the chassis, which unfortunately wouldn’t fit directly above the CPU but this is a rather bulky radiator due to its double fan setup, so that’s no big surprise, I did check though and it will happily fit in the rear of the chassis if you remove the rear 120mm fan.  The cable management is doing a fantastic job here too, with plenty of room to spare for extra cables should you opt for a multi GPU installation or any additional hard drives.

Installing the CPU cooler at the top of the case does however leave a lot of room for airflow and makes installation of the ram and other components extremely easy.  It also means that you get a great view of all your components through the side panel window.

Around the back of the case, everything looks neat and tidy, with our GTX 560 Ti getting plenty of airflow thanks to all the extra ventilation slots and that read 120mm fan.

I opted to install our DVD drive in bay 2, due to the CPU cooler being mounted so far forward in the chassis I ran into troubles installing the cables for the DVD drive, this isn’t really a big issue though as again it is a very large CPU cooler and is generally designed to fit in the rear of the chassis, its also not very common for people to use many of the optical drive bays, but something like a card reader or fan controller takes up a lot less space and would have still fit the top drive bay here.
