Creative Muvo 2 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Review

Final Thoughts

Price

The Creative Muvo 2 is available from most major retailers for around £80. Creative list it on their own site for £70 though, so buying direct may very well be the best option here. It’s not cheap, but given the range of features on offer, it’s competitive vs other products on the market and it comes from a well-trusted brand.

Overview

The Creative Muvo 2 has a lot going for it, and with so many brands on the market making similar products it can be hard to find one the best suits your needs. There are a lot of knock-off brands on the market making these speakers are very tempting prices, but more often than not, they’re cheaply made and performance isn’t anything special. Creative has a long history behind them when it comes to making premium products and delivering solid audio and that’s certainly reflected in the Muvo 2.

While it doesn’t deliver the earth-shattering performance of the Roar series, also from Creative, it’s less than half the price, so that’s certainly justified. If you need something for around the home/office to enjoy your music and give you improved range on your hands-free calls, it’s perfect for the job. Of course, you have the added bonus that you can pick it up, take it out into the garden, to the beach, to the park, where ever you want for enjoying some music with friends.

The build quality is robust, the hard-wearing finish is sure to stand up to a few hard knocks and bumps, and the IP-66 splash proof rating means that a bit of rain or a spilt drink is not going to pose much of a threat to its functionality either.

In the end, there are cheaper products on the market that do the same, but if you want great build quality and a recognisable brand name, you’ll find the Muvo 2 to a very fairly priced solution.

Pros

  • Durable build quality
  • Splash proof
  • Excellent connectivity options
  • 10-hour battery
  • Easily portable
  • Trusted brand name
  • Powerful speakers

Cons

  • None

Neutral

  • Seems expensive due to market being flooded with cheaper brands

“Compact, powerful and packed full of feature, the Muvo 2 is a great solution for giving your audio a big boost no matter where you need to go.”
