Cryorig H7 Plus High-Performance Air CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts

Price

The Cryorig H7 Plus retails for a price in the region of £40-£45. As this is a high-performance air cooler, the price is certainly reflective of good value. Particularly when you consider that it’s about the same price as an entry-level AIO cooler that would perform nowhere near as well as this.

For this price, you would struggle to find a better high-performance air cooler.

Design and Ease Of Use

As this doesn’t have any RGB lighting, the aesthetics are purely based on the design. While on the whole, this cooler might seem large and cumbersome, it’s actually remarkably clever in the way it has optimised its size to provide the best cooling solution while not dominating the inside of your system. The little design touches that are there do make the presentation excellent. At least, as above, by air cooler standards.

In terms of ease of use, the installation method is not as easy as they make it out to be on the box. At the same time though, it’s no better or worse than the vast majority. It’s just different and for some people, that might genuinely throw you off.

Overview

The market for PC coolers is a huge one! There are companies left, right and centre all touting for your business. So why pick the Cryorig Plus 7? Well, for starters, in terms of high-performance air coolers, the price is very good. Secondly, the performance figures both in terms of temperatures and noise levels are excellent. Better still, the figures show that in overclocking, this cooler manages it without breaking a sweat.

When you combine all of these factors, the Cryorig H7 Plus is one of the best inexpensive performance air coolers out there.

Pros

  • Excellent performance in both temperatures and noise.
  • Impressive design.
  • The potential for some high-levels of Overclocking.
  • Excellent value based on its high-performance.

Cons

  • None

Neutral

  • Installation method is a little unusual and it might throw some of the more experienced hands off balance. A third hand is certainly useful!
