Super PI
Super PI is a computer program that calculates pi to a specified number of digits after the decimal point—up to a maximum of 32 million. It uses Gauss–Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of the program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits.

SuperPI is another benchmark where we expect AMD processors to fall behind due to their massively different architecture to Intel’s Ivy Bridge and the latest Haswell offerings. The FX-9590 as we can see here takes around three times longer to perform a 32M calculation, but as we know well, if its core CPU performance that you are after, Intel is the way to go.
