A Closer Look
It is time to take a closer look at this amazing WiFi camera. The DCS-2630L is a compact yet versatile and high-performing camera.
The heavy foot makes the camera stand stable no matter what angle you place it in. Underneath you’ll also find a sticker with the default password and wifi name as well as default version numbers. The foot can also be separated and the camera wall mounted that way through the four holes you see here.
The camera can be rotated, so which way the power plug faces depends on your mounting position, the default is however downwards towards the stand. We can also see the tiny hole for the hardware reset here and there’s a tiny LED inside the mesh that isn’t visible. This LED acts as status and power LED.
A little more to the side we find the WPS button and micro SD card slot for direct and local recording. Just plug a card into the slot and it’s ready to go. The WPS button allows for one-click setup with your network. It really couldn’t be any simpler and yet the DCS-2630L has everything.
