Day 2 – Plenty to see and do as CES 2013 swings into action

While CES International 2013 wasn’t officially under way, that doesn’t mean there isn’t still a huge among of stuff to see and do in regards to the show. So lets not waste time and lets just right ahead from what we discovered on our 2nd day here in Las Vegas.

While there is plenty of talk of tech and gadgets on the way, we couldn’t help but share this little number with you all, notice the door on the top right of the building? Chris suggests its the emergency exit on the honeymoon suite.

The Las Vegas strip (for the most part) is only 5 miles long, which may not sound much to most it really is incredible the amount of people, places and sights you can find in such a small space. When not looking at new gadgets, its hard to not behold the views.

Of course CES isn’t just about the tech, its about the people and the company’s behind it all and sure enough we found a few of our favourite friends who were also out to cover the show or display their technology to the eager crowds.

The first thing we laid our eyes on at CES was from one of our favourite brands, Thermaltake. On display were a range of headsets from their Tt eSports range, which we’ve covered before on eTeknix, but they do look great in (some) of those colour schemes.

Also on offer were a stunning range of peripherals with a colourful selection of mice designs and gaming surfaces.

Along side that we have a selection of keyboards, also from their popular Tt eSports range.

For those that want a more high end headset, they had their Cronos, Bahamut and their Console One headset. The console one is the Shock One re-designed for use with the Xbox 360.

The Cronos is shaping up nicely and I expect well have a review for you all soon enough.

They had a few chassis on display, with the latest revisions and models for the coming year, expect more detailed coverage of these over the next few days.

Lastly we have the well known Level 10M Gaming Mouse which has already proven its self in our review.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
