A Closer Look – Exterior
The DeepCool CH510 looks great, with a huge side panel window that covers the full left side of the case, and a thick black border behind the glass that hides all the boring framing and keeps the focus on the interior components.
Pay no attention to the man behind the glass…
The front panel is an extruded plastic front that comes out about 1 1/2 inches from the main structure of the case, with a mixture of glossy and matte plastics.
The bottom section is a huge mesh panel, allowing massive amounts of airflow to the front fan and radiator mounts, where you’ll find room for 120mm and 140mm fans, or up to a 280mm or 360mm radiator.
The upper section is much more glossy but also features a square display right in the middle. I should point out, that if you don’t want the display, there’s the CH510 Mesh that comes without it, and this is the CH510 Mesh Digital, which does feature it, so you have a choice here.
Up on the top, there’s even more mesh for airflow, with a nearly full-length and width magnetic dust filter.
It’s easily removed allowing you to quickly clean it, or access the mounts at the top of the case.
There’s support for both 120mm and 140mm fittings here, with up to a 280mm or 360mm radiator supported. I like that the mounts are closer to the glass side of the case too, so AIO coolers are less likely to conflict with taller VRMs and other motherboard components.
There’s also a decent front I/O with a USB 3.2 port and a Type-C port within easy reach.
Branding is kept pretty minimal here, just a small logo on the top front of the case.
The right side panel is a relatively blank panel, flush mounted, and with some added ventilation along the bottom edge.
It features that squared digital pattern which we see across many DeepCool products, and there’s even a magnetic dust filter on the interior for this too.
Around the back, it’s the usual ATX layout, but DeepCool has given the top fan mount some elongated screw mounts so it can be height adjusted quite a bit.
On the base, again, fairly standard stuff, with a small dust filter for the PSU. I do like that the feet are nice and large though, it helps keep the case nice and stable and there are pads on them to help soak up vibrations too.
