Overview
It’s hard to make a power supply look good. Despite that, DeepCool has definitely managed it here. The branding and styling choices to this power supply are subtle, but make such a massive difference in terms of presentation. This PSU really stands out from the crowd and that’s definitely a good thing when the competition is so high.
In addition, with the decent internal build and fully-Japanese capacitors, this ticks all the right boxes!
Efficiency and Beyond
The testing speaks for itself. In terms of an 850 watt, gold-rated power supply, this performs excellently in every area you would want it to. In truth, there was nothing throughout the testing that raised any concerns and the efficiency ratings are actually a little higher than the gold-efficiency ratings require.
In terms of the business end of a power supply, the Gamer Storm DQ850-M is spot-on!
Should I Buy One?
