Peter Donnell / 2 years ago
DeepCool has a strong reputation for their PSUs, and we’ve certainly reviewed some decent ones from them over the years. Now DeepCool is back with a new model, the PQ-M. Announced earlier today, their new generation of power supplies promise to deliver on the high quality we’ve come to expect from DeepCool. All of the new PSU units will come certified at 80 PLUS Gold, meaning high power efficiency throughout the range. They’re all also fully modular, which should make cable routing a breeze.
The PQ-M series is available in 650 W, 750 W, 850 W, and 1000 W capacities, and come equipped with a high-quality 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fan for quiet and cool performance, aided by their intelligent fan curve and hybrid fan design.
Sticking with the premium hardware theme, all units will use Japanese Electrolytic Capacitors, which are usually a solid indicator of high quality for a PSU. Not only that, but DeepCool seem confident in the quality, giving these PSUs an impressive 10-year warranty!
What DeepCool Had to Say
“Certified with an 80 PLUS Gold rating, the PQ-M series offers up to 90% power efficiency under typical system loads with all Japanese electrolytic capacitors to provide pristine power output quality while reducing overall heat waste and operational noise. Built solid from inside out, the circuit platform is hard connected to the modular board for added rigidity and reduced signal noise. The fully modular cabling allows only the necessary system cables are utilized for simpler cable management.” – DeepCool
