The Division Hosts Free-to-Play Weekend for December

Tom Clancy’s The Division is offering a free-to-play weekend starting December 5 to 7 on PC, and Dec 7 through 10 for consoles. While it will not let players keep the game for free after the event, it is completely free during the duration. Free as in full access to the game, without limitations.

Although Ubisoft also offers a full-access The Division trial version, it will go on hiatus until this free-to-play event is over. After which, it would resume again. The free trial version lets gamers play the full game for 6 hours or until they reach level 8. Whatever character progress and points players earn during the free weekend period will carry on if they purchase the game after.

Free Weekend Dates for All Platforms

The exact free weekend times and dates are available below for each platform:

• XBOX will start on Dec 6, 2017 at 11:00PM PT, and will end on Dec 10, 2017 at 11:00PM PT.
• PS4 will start on Dec 6, 2017 at 11:00PM PT, and will end on Dec 10, 2017 at 11:00PM PT.
• PC will start on Dec 5, 2017 at 10:00AM PT, and will end on Dec 7, 2017 at 01:00PM PT.

Up to 70% Discount for the Full Game

The full game is also available for up to 70% discount during the event on all platforms. The timing is strict though and not like other games which give you an extra day to think. It ends on the same day as the event, except for PC gamers. Since the free weekend on PC actually ends before the week even ends, they have until the 10th to decide whether to buy the full version.

• XBOX and PS4 sale will start on Dec 7, 2017 and runs until Dec 10, 2017. Standard version is 70% off, while the Gold version is 67% off.
• PC sale starts Dec 7 at 9:00AM PST and ends Dec 10 at 12:00PM PST. Both the Standard and the Gold version are 70% off.
