Doom Update Strips DRM and Adds New Features

Doom has been rocking it pretty hard since it was released, and it’s about to get a whole lot better thanks to another completely free update! The new update brings a new game mode, adds pile of new content to SnapMap, but most important of all, Denuvo DRM has been cast aside, which is seriously awesome news for PC gamers.

The patch makes a lot of changes and comes with a whopping file size of 11GB, which is a pretty huge increase on the already sizeable game install. However, it looks like it’s worth it given the changelog.

One of our favourite new additions is the inclusion of bots in multiplayer, allowing you to go out and practice your skills without making a fool of yourself in front of your friends.
