The box reminds us exactly of how the Z77H2-AX arrived with us. A simple golden style box with the Black Extreme branding in the middle and model name just below it. The ECS logo sits proud in the top left and other than this, the box is bare with no other branding or feature set.
The box opens up to reveal information on the features of the board, which as you can see is quite plentiful including the golden features, 2-way CrossFireX technology and DDR3 2600MHz support.
The other side of the box also opens up to reveal more information. This time the flap gives us more of an insight into the golden features from the plating to the rear I/O. We also get a first glance at the board itself in its anti-static bag.
Inside the box, the first things we got our hands on were the bundled accessories including a user guide, support leaflet, driver installation and system utility DVD and none other than a golden rear I/O panel shield plate.
Also included is no less than seven red SATA data cables in case you have mass amounts of storage needs.
