Edifier is a manufacturer of audio products including premium sound systems, bookshelf speakers and earbuds and they are a company that I hold good praise with. They have now expanded their range of products with the follow-up to their Neobuds Pro Earbuds with the NeoBuds Pro 2.
Edifier Neobuds Pro 2
The Neobuds Pro 2 come in with the same familiar shape as the previous Neobuds Pro but has introduced Edifier’s latest patented technology, the Edifier Wide-Band Multi-Channel ANC. This Active Noise Cancellation offers much deeper and wider noise cancellation for up to -50dB depth and 5 kHz bandwidth. The ANC can be personalized to suit your needs and the environment giving you total control of the background noise whether it’s on your morning commute or in the office. Calls are also aided with the 4+4 built-in microphones and AI voice pick-up algorithm which filters out the unwanted environmental and wind noise.
The audio itself is highly immersive with the Spatial Audio with Visualised Head-Tracking technology through the use of a built-in gyrometer and accelerometer to track your head movements to change the sound stage accordingly. For the first time, the Neobuds Pro 2 also support up to 192 kHz/24-bit music streaming over Bluetooth using the latest LHDC 5.0 HD codec. The Knowles balanced armature driver, composite diaphragm drivers and LDAC, LHDC, SBC and AAC audio coding all work to provide precise and rich sound in both high and mid-to-low frequencies.
Powering these earbuds is a 22-hour battery life in the charging case allowing for long listening sessions with 15 15-minute fast charge for two hours of playback time. The wireless connectivity also provides low latency with the gaming mode for those that game on phones.
