Slovenian liquid cooling manufacturer EKWB is announcing the launch of their Gaming series liquid cooling kits or “G-Kits” for short. These are basically pre-matched EKWB parts that is designed for liquid-cooling beginners. Unlike typical all-in-one liquid cooling kits, the EKWB gaming series liquid cooling kits are expandable and can be customised later on. Users can customise some parts but otherwise, the kit can be readily used out of the box.
Unlike other liquid cooling kits, EKWB opted to use a 5.25″ drive-bay reservoir to maximise system compatibility. Not all cases have mounting support for cylindrical reservoir but many cases have available 5.25″ drive bays. Included in each kit is an EK-Supremacy MX UNI CPU water block compatible with AMD socket AM4 and Intel socket LGA775, 1366, 115x as well as LGA-2011.
EKWB is also offering free support should users want to use the gaming series liquid cooling kit on an older AMD 939, FM2+, or AM3+ socket.
