Endgame Gear XM2WE Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

When it comes to gaming mice, it can be hard to choose which one is right for you these days. Not because it’s hard to find a good one, as by and large, the whole industry has seriously upped its game in recent years. So long as you stick to the more established brand names, it’s honestly extremely hard to find a bad mouse now. The same is true of wireless gaming mice, once they were just another step to add latency or interference, but with modern mice, it’s simply no longer a problem. With that in mind, I’ve got the latest Endgame Gear XM2WE, that being the latest entry in the XM series and WE is the wireless Edition, plus at £79.99 it’s priced pretty much in line with the competition, so it should be pretty competitive.

Endgame Gear XM2we Wireless

It’s well equipped, with the latest Pixart PAW3370 optical sensor, able to deliver 19,000 CPI at 400 IPS with 50G acceleration, so there’s no way you’re going to outpace this sensor! There are the fantastic Kailh GO optical switches too, as well as their GM 2 side switches. All this is packed into a lightweight shell that results in a mouse that weighs just 63 grams, so it should be pretty nimble too!

Features

  • Wireless gaming mouse with Pixart PAW3370 optical sensor
  • Adjustable resolution, up to 19,000 CPI
  • Kailh GO optical switches on L/R and pre-sorted Kailh GM 2.0 switches on side buttons
  • CompX CX53850 microcontroller for highly stable 2.4GHz wireless connectivity
  • 410mAh battery with up to a week’s gameplay between charges
  • Ultra lightweight at just 63g

What Endgame Gear Had to Say

“Get esports-level performance at a lower price point, with the Endgame Gear XM2WE Gaming Mouse. Crafted as an essential gaming mouse, this model offers wireless connectivity, a premium optical sensor, and great adjustability through the XM2WE Configuration Software. Improving on the XM1, this gaming mouse is lighter and equipped with the latest innovative technology, whilst still retaining the features we love about the original.”

So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
