ENDORFY GEM Plus Wireless Ultralight Gaming Mouse Review

A Closer Look & Performance

The ENDORFY GEM Plus Wireless Ultralight Gaming Mouse looks like… a gaming mouse, it’s a pretty classic design and ENDORFY hasn’t tinkered with the industry-wide winning formula here, so it feels pretty natural in your hand right away.

Down the side, there’s a large hard-wearing textured surface as well as two light and crisp clicking side buttons.

The mouse has a nice ergonomic shape to it, with an arched top and indented sides that make it natural to grip and easy to hold between a thumb and finger for a lift-off technique.

There’s an ARGB logo on the back, as well as a U-shaped section of lighting at the bottom edge.

Down the right side, there’s more of that hard-wearing textured grip, but no right-side buttons, as this is a right-handed design.

The LMB and RMB are huge, with a design that swells out towards the front giving them a huge play surface, and there’s a subtle indentation on them too, so your fingertip naturally rests in the clicking sweet spot, allowing for a much tighter response time.

The mouse wheel is nice and large, but heavily recessed into the mouse body and it features a soft rubber grip coating, making it very easy to adjust with a slight bump when turned, it’s accurate when using it to cycle through available weapons in FPS titles.

While this is an extremely lightweight mouse, coming in at around 75 grams, it generally looks like a solid-body mouse. There’s some obvious weight saving on the underside, but overall, the mouse feels incredibly rigid despite the remarkably low weight.

There is a master power control on the bottom of the mouse, allowing you to turn it off, turn it on without RGB or on with RGB, which is great, as it avoids the need to do that in software.

There’s a little snug here for the USB wireless dongle too.

It’s held in by friction so you just pick it out with your nail, but it’s not hard to do. As I said before, the mouse is wireless, but can also be used in wired mode with a Type-C cable, and this means you can also charge while you play. It’ll do about 100 hours on a full charge and will warn you with a flashing red light when it gets too low, so you’ll never need to stop your gameplay to charge.

The cable is Paracord, so lightweight and very nice quality, but honestly, Type-C is Type-C so you could use your own aftermarket cable to charge or play if you wanted to.

The mouse is fast, light and extremely nimble, but that was pretty much to be expected. The PixArt sensor is utterly fantastic, but to be honest, it’s been a long time since we saw a gaming mouse with a bad sensor! There are no issues with jitter, angle snapping or over/undershoot on the tracking throughout the DPI range, it’s just lethal accuracy, so if you miss a headshot, that’s on you.

The mouse is so comfortable to hold, it feels like an extension of my hand. Plus with it being so light, you can pick it up with a featherlike grip, allowing for an easy lift-off technique for low-DPI gamers.

There’s certainly a sweet spot to every button, but honestly, these Kailh switches actuate crisply from quite far back on the mouse button.

They’re very snappy, so they allow for quick-fire clicking and there’s no pre or post-travel to the switch either, making them very responsive.

Overall, a premium gaming mouse that delivers a premium gaming experience.

There’s nothing I can fault about it, so top marks all around.
