The 6 6mm heatpipes cross paths in the cooler’s fin array to enter different points of the base.
Multiple grooves and channels in the heatsink create Enermax’s patented VGF (Vortex Generator Flow) and VEF (Vacuum Effect Flow) technologies. 4 rubber dampers reduce vibrations from the fan which can lead to higher noise levels.
All 6 heatpipes are separated by enough of a distance to allow them not to saturate a specific area of the aluminium fin array. The flat base and 6 6mm heatpipes should achieve excellent heat transfer potential.
Enermax use an innovative fan installation method where the 120mm Vegas Duo fan is housed in a plastic casing which clips to the heatsink. The 120mm PWM fan is rated for 76 CFM at speeds of up to 1800 RPM. A button wired to the fan controls the fan’s LED configuration meaning that you can vary the LED colour and style from outside of your case.
