ENERMAX’s New PlatiGemini Is World’s First 80 Plus Platinum ATX 3.1 & ATX 12VO PSU
ENERMAX has today announced its newest PSU which is advertised as the worlds first 80 Plus Platinum PSU to support both Intel ATX 3.1 and ATX 12VO standards and has been designed for ‘system integrators and professionals working on mission-critical projects’.

As the world’s first dual-standard PSU, the PlatiGemini supports both the 24-pin mainstream motherboards and the 10-pin energy-saving 12VO motherboards offering high versatility for current and future technological requirements. The 12VO standard supplies only 12 volts to the system components which eliminates the need for conversion to other voltage levels, reducing energy loss and improving the overall efficiency. The PSU is also compatible with the ATX 3.1 standard which includes PCIe 5.1 with a native 600W 12V-12×6 cable and the capacity to handle power surges up to 235%.
The PlatiGemini offers an 80-Plus Platinum efficiency rating with up to 94% efficiency under typical loads and up to 74% efficiency at 2% load ensuring high energy savings in idle or low-load scenarios. Inside is 100% industrial-grade Japanese capacitors to ensure long lasting reliability with >100K MTBF (hours). It is also equipped with OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, OTP, SCP protections. Cooling the internal components is a 135mm industrial-grade dual-ball bearing fan which includes semi-fanless technology to allow the fan to remain stopped until you reach 60% working load or over-temperature which keeps the unit running quiet. This fan also features ENERMAX’s next-gen patented Dust-free Rotation self-cleaning technology which can expel dust through instant reversal fan spin when the system is powered on.
