eTeknix Tech Review Of 2011

Taking a look back at 2011 has certainly been interesting to think about, and to relay back to you, our devoted readers has been even more exciting, at least to me. A lot when on and we saw a lot of ups and downs, but that’s the industry we’re in and that’s how it’s always going to be and for the best part, I don’t think we’d ever want it to change.

With the industry operating in such a manner that it creates excitement and competition is what any commercial activity is about, and as journalists, gives us something to talk about. Without the controversy, this world that we live in wouldn’t keep us on our toes and certainly wouldn’t give me anything worthwhile to write about.

I’m sure that everyone reading this article has at least remembered back to the time when the previous pages events occured and can remember it quite vividly. Being on the front-line so to speak is always a challenge for us, but when we see a plethora of new products being released to the market and crazy events happening, such as the floods, we find that it gives us something to write about, much like an average person venting out with the new, juicy gossip.

What this article has hopefully done is to shed some light on the major key points of 2011 and given you an insight as to all of the exciting bits that can happen in one year and we can only hope that 2012 can continue to excite us and keep us talking. I mean, it’s only February and we’ve seen the 7950 Radeon graphics cards being released, the new Intel 520 Series Solid State Drives and lots of rumours about upcoming Intel and Nvidia technology. We can only hold high hope that we will see some more ground breaking releases and some of the juiciest gossip around, but we will have to wait and see and hope that we’re right.

One of the things that us at eTeknix are looking forward to the most, has got to be Windows 8, but time will tell us more about this as it happens.
