Acoustic, Thermal and Power Testing

Acoustic Performance

At idle and even low loads the FTW3 is completely silent, meaning you can work in peace and quiet. However, even with the fans spinning at full load, they barely tipped 41 dBa. That’s the same as the ASUS RoG GTX 1080 Ti too, so both are very competitive in this regard.

Thermal Performance

EVGA may not be quieter than ASUS, but it sure is cooler. It clocked just 59c at full load, which is incredibly cool and way below the 84c of the reference 1080 Ti.

Power Usage

Somehow, likely due to witchcraft, the FTW3 uses less power than both the Aorus and RoG 1080 Ti’s too, making it powerful and efficient!
