The EVGA GTX 1660 XC Ultra sips at the power, using just 193.4, making it the second most efficient GPU we’ve tested. Of course, all the new GTX 1660 cards are extremely efficient too. Keep in mind they beat the RX580 in performance, but use over 120 Watts less power!
As you might expect, an efficient card is a cool card. In fact, it’s the coolest card we’ve ever tested maxing at just 61c. I don’t think EVGA needed to put such a massive cooler on this card, it’s great, but it’s overkill.
The noise levels are pretty modest too, maxing out at just 40.4 dBa, it’s unlikely to ever be a bother. However, you could turn the fan profile down more, given the amazing temperatures we’ve had.
