Over Power Protection and Max Wattage

Did you read our testing methodology page? Probably not. However, this test basically tells us just how much power this unit can take before it does one of two things. The OPP will kick in and turn the unit off, or it’ll explode. Keep in mind this is a 750W unit. When I saw it blast past 1100W I thought it was going to explode. It didn’t, and this unit will indeed draw well over 1000W with ease before it shuts off. While I don’t recommend trying to run it that far past its rating for long periods, it’ll do it. It’s also good for that one time you benchmark and the power spikes, as it’ll handle it and not shut off your rig.

1151W from a 750W unit, insane!
