Mozilla seems to feel the need to give gifts as they recently released the first public beta build of the upcoming Firefox release, version 10.0.
Mozilla has already been treated with its own ‘present’ if you will, with the new three-year search agreement with Google, who knows what this will bring us.
Back to the main topic, developers are saying that with Firefox 10 comes the Full Screen APIs, which allows web apps to run in full screen mode, support for CSS3 3D-Transforms and WebGL Anti-Aliasing as well as an HTML5 treat with the < bdi > element for bi-directional text isolation.
That’s not all, some added functions have been included such as a forward button which will remain hidden until you navigate back, an Inspect tool featuring content highlighting, IndexedDB APIs, and some additional fixes.
Same as with precedent releases, Firefox 10.0 beta is available for Windows, Max OS and Linux; download links can be found here.
