First-Person Mod Hits Dark Souls 3

dark souls 3 requirements

Some of you would argue that Dark Souls 3 is difficult enough as it is from a third-person perspective, but have you ever wondered how it would be like to actually play this game in first-person? Well, a modder named Zulliethewitch/ShadowedImage has decided to give you the opportunity to try it out by releasing a first-person mod for this renowned action RPG. It’s worth noting that since the game was not designed to offer this perspective, some things might look a little weird, but it’s definitely worth trying out if you want to enjoy that Skyrim FPS feel.

From what I’ve seen so far, this mod has the potential to improve immersion without influencing gameplay in a negative way. Furthermore, this just goes to show how awesome it would be to play Dark Souls 3 using VR headsets, and I definitely hope that this is going to be possible as well in the near future. For now, you can always try to download the mod yourself and give it a try or just watch the following gameplay video for a glimpse of what to expect. Another great third-person game that can be played in first-person is Witcher 3, but I wouldn’t really want to miss out on Geralt’s unique combat moves. What other games would you like to play from a first-person perspective?
